Sophie has always been exposed to Yoga and energy work throughout her life, but it came to her at a time in need when she was living in London. From there her passion for Yoga transformed from a focus not just on the asanas/postures to prevent the fickleness of her mind, but into the breath, meditation and the philosophy behind the practice. Yoga on and off the mat has now become a way of life for Sophie, and she now has the urge to share it. Sophie teaches a class mixed with Yin and Yang, a strong core-oriented Vinyasa flow that is also nurturing and fluid. Sophie incorporates elements of Pilates to strengthen the core and warm the belly and spine, thus creating a strong foundation for the physical practice. Sophie aspires to "live" Yoga both on and off the mat. Subtly interweaving yoga philosophy into each of her creatively crafted classes.

Sophie hopes to fill her own and others' lives with all the things that make us happy and make our life rich with creativity. Sophie has a passion for acting and Drama and spends much of her days teaching Drama and English to senior school students. Sophie enjoys being able to empower her students by teaching the power of the breath and mindfulness and hopes to bring heart-centred education and mindfulness to school students.
